10 Years In The Making

Around 10 years ago I began writing a book which is has gone through and incredible roller-coaster process. It started off with one theme and has completely gone in a different direction.

I’m so excited as this is what I have been building up to. This is what my life has been about. This is why I’ve gone through so much. It’s all come together into a package which I will be delivering to you very soon.

It is incredibly close to being completed and my goal is to have the book totally finished by the the 31st of August 2013.

Where will I be able to get it?

I haven’t quite decided which option to take as yet but I will be exploring two. These are: i) To self publish on Kindle ii) To find a publisher and have them publish it. Either option works for me.

There’s a small part of me that’s always wanted to have a book on the bookshelf that can be purchased. Yet, I know that the future is in digital publishing and so I explore both equally and which every presents itself as the best option, I will take.

What’s it about? Is is just another personal development book?

I’ve read hundreds of personal development books and I mean literally, hundreds! Will mine just share the same stuff that’s already available? Yes, there will be some aspects that I’m sure will be similar, however, the main theme of my book will be totally different. I KNOW that there is not a single book out there that has covered some aspects of what I will be talking about, anywhere in the world!

In that respect, my book will be very unique. I know there is no a single Life Coach, or Personal Development Guru who has had remotely close to the experiences I’ve had or experience I have.

I have great respect for my teachers such as Wayne Dyer, Tony Robbins and John DeMartini, among many others, and I’ve learned a great deal from them. Now, it’s take for me to follow in their footsteps and put out to the world everything I’ve learned over the last 36 years.

I have by no means done everything right. I haven’t always made the best choices. I haven’t done this book as fast as I’d like. However, it is each of those things that have been my teachers which has ultimately led to some of the lessons that I’ll be sharing with you.

When the time comes, I really hope you chose to buy and read the book, and if you enjoy it, will go and tell everyone you know about it. One thing I promise, is that it will take you on a roller-coaster ride. It will make you laugh out loud, it will make you think, it will make you cry and it will challenge you.

Can’t wait for your book bro….we read your blog regularly, so the hype has already begun! To place your life as the central theme of a book and use it as an example to better the world is not only commendable but brave. It’s gonna rock! I know how you feel. My novel is with the publishers right now! It’s an exciting moment. And to see your words in print and have someone else read them is another ‘high’ altogether. All the best : )

(Shameless plug alert!) P.S. Check out the trailer for my upcoming novel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bm9wswyV09A

    Amit,
Personal development is such a diverse field with as many opinions as writers. I believe every book and every writer is unique because of their varied perspectives, so best of luck with your book! I’ve been planning to write one myself but at the rate its progressing, it may well take as much time to put together as yours did. I believe that the success of such content depends on the ability of the writing to connect with the readers.

      Hey Semee,

Thank you so much for the feedback and for stopping by to leave a comment. When I say unique I mean a specific event that has occurred which I know no one else has written about, so it’s unique in that context.

I totally understand where you’re coming from though and once again I just want to say thank you for getting in touch! 🙂

      ~Amit
