My Deepest Gratitude
It’s a wonderful feeling to be back to blogging after being away for just over a month. Those who know me well will know that I just went through, what I would describe to be, the most challenging experience of my life.
My mother became critically ill in India and it was a real mission dealing with everything and most importantly trying to get her back home. During the time I was out there though many people came forward with help in all guises and I can’t thank you enough for that.
There were many twists and turns to this story and it isn’t quite over yet but it was just a miracle to see people, even strangers, offer help to provide some sort of solution. We were offered many prayers and regardless of what you believe, I know that the power of silent prayer offers much help to those who need it. Even if you feel like you can’t offer physical support, always offer a silent prayer of support. I believe it makes a world of difference.
Dear Amit,
I sincerely hope your mother is on the road to recovery. She is fortunate to have a son like you. Your inner strength will aid in her healing.
Here’s a silent prayer from me…
Remain strong and smile often.
All the best,
Milan Bakrania

That’s extremely kind Milan so thank you. What’s this emissarybook? Tell me more!
Hi Amit,
Apologies for the late reply. Hope everything is ok with your mother.
The Emissary is my first novel which will be out this summer. It is about a guy named Jayesh who gives up on life and then meets a divine child in the middle of India’s busiest highway. A mixture of suspense and new age spirituality all set in a future not too far away!. I’m hoping this book wil inspire millions! to create their own path in life instead of following the ones established by their peers and ancestors. We’re here to make a difference after all, so why not break the rules and create the world you want without living in a bubble of limitations!
The book will be out in all good bookshops this June.
Regards,
Milan
Wow that’s sounds truly awesome, is there any chance I can get an early copy and review it here for you on the blog?
Sure thing bro! It would be a pleasure to have my book reviewed on your blog. Email me your details and I’ll get one in the post to you as soon as I receive the complimentary copies next week.
Regards,
Milan

I times of need it’s surprising where the help and support comes from. It’s so rewarding to realise that you only need to ask for the help and it arrives.

Hey Zeenat,
Thank you for your kind words which I so do appreciate. Mum is ok, recovery will take time but she is getting there. The good thing is now that I’m back I’m feeling much better too. We never know what the future holds but it’s wonderful to know that so many people have offered their kind words and support. Thank you so much! xx
Wishing you peace and comfort in this difficult time. Good for you for helping take care of your mom. I have a feeling I’ll be in your position relatively soon with my parents. Thanks for your blog and words of wisdom.
Hey Jeremy,
You have my prayers too. It’s not an easy time to look after the parents but I’m sure you will do a wonderful job. Keep smiling bud and know there are alsways people around willing to help, never be afraid to ask. 🙂
I appreciate that – both my parents are overweight, but my mom especially is approaching 70 and really starting to fall apart. She’s had more surgeries than I can count and has a difficult time walking. I feel very bad for her and wish there was more I could do.
You know, that sounds a lot like my mum. I found myself starting to fear my own future, ‘what if I end up like that?’ and so on. I realised for us the key is to keep focussed on what we want and only use what we see as a contrast. I think there are deeper reason why each soul chooses his/her journey, so I’m sure there is a reason for hers. I know there is a reason you’re a witness to it too.
