My Deepest Gratitude

It’s a wonderful feeling to be back to blogging after being away for just over a month. Those who know me well will know that I just went through, what I would describe to be, the most challenging experience of my life.

My mother became critically ill in India and it was a real mission dealing with everything and most importantly trying to get her back home. During the time I was out there though many people came forward with help in all guises and I can’t thank you enough for that.

There were many twists and turns to this story and it isn’t quite over yet but it was just a miracle to see people, even strangers, offer help to provide some sort of solution. We were offered many prayers and regardless of what you believe, I know that the power of silent prayer offers much help to those who need it. Even if you feel like you can’t offer physical support, always offer a silent prayer of support. I believe it makes a world of difference.

That’s extremely kind Milan so thank you. What’s this emissarybook? Tell me more!

      • Milan Bakrania says:

        Hi Amit,

Apologies for the late reply. Hope everything is ok with your mother.

The Emissary is my first novel which will be out this summer. It is about a guy named Jayesh who gives up on life and then meets a divine child in the middle of India’s busiest highway. A mixture of suspense and new age spirituality all set in a future not too far away!. I’m hoping this book wil inspire millions! to create their own path in life instead of following the ones established by their peers and ancestors. We’re here to make a difference after all, so why not break the rules and create the world you want without living in a bubble of limitations!

The book will be out in all good bookshops this June.

        Regards,
        Milan

            Regards,

I’m fairly new to your blog but it’s good to see you back and I hope your mother is well on the road to recovery.

I times of need it’s surprising where the help and support comes from. It’s so rewarding to realise that you only need to ask for the help and it arrives.

    Regards

    Paul

Wishing you peace and comfort in this difficult time. Good for you for helping take care of your mom. I have a feeling I’ll be in your position relatively soon with my parents. Thanks for your blog and words of wisdom.

    • Amit Sodha says:

      Hey Jeremy,

You have my prayers too. It’s not an easy time to look after the parents but I’m sure you will do a wonderful job. Keep smiling bud and know there are alsways people around willing to help, never be afraid to ask. 🙂

      • Jeremy Johnson says:

I appreciate that – both my parents are overweight, but my mom especially is approaching 70 and really starting to fall apart. She’s had more surgeries than I can count and has a difficult time walking. I feel very bad for her and wish there was more I could do.
