69 Simple Tips To Increase Your Profile
If you want to get yourself out there you really need a strategy and a game plan to increase your profile. It doesn’t happen automatically although sometimes you can get lucky. Take a proactive approach and do things that get you noticed. When I did some stand up comedy last week I wanted to make sure I used up all my business cards so I spread them about the place.
Just yesterday I was in the audience for Question Time on BBC1. I made a comment on the show and I was wearing a purple jumper which everyone now remembers me for! It is indeed Sarah, I’m still waiting for an invite to try it and once I do I’ll give it a go!
Hey Amit,
I totally agree with you that if you wanna make yourself known, you need a strategy. It doesn’t simply happen over night. This is why I put a lot of value on personal branding. It allows you to project yourself in a consistent way and make yourself remembered. Awesome stuff 😉
Indeed Eduard. We can cast doubt on our ideas sometimes because of what people may think but once you can leap that self created barrier you just start going for it.
Amit, you always have just the right mix of serious and silly. Love this post. Creative, funny, very you. Thanks.
Hey Belinda, glad you enjoyed! 🙂 x
you really touched me with those points. keep up

Amit,
I did shout out for you on my 101 changes: slow blogging post 🙂 rests, I am not sure I can do right now, as I am very laidback and very busy with 2 kids (pulling me right now as i type) but enjoyed reading it.
How is your mom now?
.-= New at Zengirl @ heart and mind’s blog ..We are what we eat, really! =-.
Awwww mom is good, she should be home very soon. She’ll need a lot of care in the beginning but she’ll get stronger as time goes by! I like your idea of slow blogging, I generally only do about 2 a week. The rest of the time I just tweak the blog or old posts…I enjoy that process! 🙂
very useful points Amit, i discovered that i have already done few of them, gotta complete the full list 🙂
Glad to hear it Farouk, just go for it! 🙂
Big up Amit – these are awesome tips. I think if you’re not bold, you might as well go home. I’m off to retweet you right now and then Flatter myself!
