If there’s one question I get asked more than any other, it’s how to stop overthinking. How to stop repeating the same thoughts over and over again.
Watch the video below to get a better understanding of this and how to stop overthinking and repeating thoughts.
Why do you allow it to happen where you’re constantly exhausting yourself by entertaining the same stories over and over again? Don’t you realise that when you’re doing that, you’re basically creating the reality you’re living?
There’s no magic pill to stop the repeated overthinking, but there are ways you can gradually bring it under control.
How To Stop Overthinking
You are not a slave to what your mind is thinking unless you choose to allow that to happen. You can choose to think in a new way when you decide you’ve had enough of what’s been happening, and you want to have a different outcome.
1. Start incredibly small and make it a daily practise.
2. Pay attention to the outcome you’re attracting. (The example in the video was about thinking ‘no money’ and having no money.)
3. Don’t go for big leaps in your thinking, and tackle one thing at a time.
As you slowly change the results that you get in life, it will become easier to change other areas of life. It will be tempting to try and change everything in one go but, if you can incrementally you a bigger change overall will be easy.
If you try and aim for too big, any disappointment will exacerbate your current situation. So take baby steps and you will actually get bigger results.
