JPMorgan Chase Challenge

I submitted my entry for the JPMorgan Chase Challenge run today. It’s 3.5 mile run in Battersea Park, London.

This is a huge step for me as I’m still in the process of losing my excess weight. I started training exactly a year ago yesterday and so far I have lost 3.5 stone. I started at 22 stones (308lbs) and I’m down to 18.5 (259lbs). My ultimate goal is to get down to 15 stones (210lbs) and to run the Marathon by the time this body turns 35. 🙂 (wish me luck!!!) This is a great way of setting myself a realistic short term goal though and what better way than with 13,000 other individuals on a hot summers day in good ol’ London town!

Like I said, wish me luck, I’m leaving the office now and am going to start my training and preparation this evening.
