Raise Your Vision And Let Go Of Your Outcomes

Raise your vision

You’re reading this article because of an amazing synchronicity telling you that it’s time step up a level. No longer will you dithering around on the bottom rung of the ladder feeling hopeless and depressed.

If you really want to climb the ladder to a more enlightened level of thinking and raise your vibration, you need to raise your vision and let go of your outcomes.

This process, which I’m going to aptly name ‘The Sodha Method’, is probably the most simple and yet powerful process you can follow to get out of any rut or any place where you’re feeling hopeless.

Sometimes these processes can be tough to articulate when it’s something you do naturally. It’s something that happened for me when I recently discovered that I would possibly be losing my job. My initial reaction was one of fear, doubt and uncertainty but thanks to this process I was able to change the way I felt and ultimately move from a place of hopelessness to a place of positive anticipation.

I mentioned recently about shifting your focus and I wanted to expand on that for this topic. Your vision of your life, your goals and purpose will directly affect the way you feel. When you choose to shift your purpose to your highest desire for you, is when you feel something extremely powerful.

When you raise your vision or vibration and let go of your outcomes something wonderful happens. It will being by you feeling a sense of ecstasy within your body. You will feel exceptionally light and so stable that not even a bulldozer could knock you off balance. You will feel like you’re ready to take on the world.

1. Raise Your Vision

The first step is to raise your vision. Lets start with a clear cut example. If you were facing the prospect of losing your job for example, your initial reaction may be one of fear. Understandably you’d be worried about how to pay the mortgage, your bills and make ends meet. Those kinds of thoughts are totally natural. Don’t feel bad for feeling that way. That’s important because the last thing you want is to dig yourself deeper into that place of feeling low.

If that happens the first step is to start thinking on a larger scale. Feeling low often stems from small thinking. When we think on bigger scales and understand possibilities then we can start, with our vision, to enter a whole new mental state.

If you stay focussed around the region of bills and mortgages then you will never escape the gravitational pull of that state. If however you start to look at a bigger picture and think “Maybe this is the opportunity I’ve been looking for to go help children in third world nations”. Immediately you will feel the difference.

When you do this in stages and think up at each stage you’ll start to feel even more unstoppable. It’s okay to still think about the bills and money, but this part of the process redresses the balance of staying the in the same place.

If you struggle with this process of thinking up, there is very simple thing you can do which instantly change shift your vision. Are you ready for it? Go to higher ground. Yep, it’s that simple! Go to the top floor of a tall building or up a hill. Just looking at the vista from a high view point can also alter you vision and vibration. If you’re stuck, go to higher ground

2. Let Go Of Your Outcomes

I’m sure you’ve noticed it just as much as I have that something magical often happens when you let go of your outcomes. When you stop hoping for a set outcome and let the event unfold naturally, standing only as a detached observer, you will open yourself to notice other opportunities that you may otherwise blind yourself to.

If you become too fixed on one outcome and the way in which it is ‘meant’ to transpire then it shuts the door on what ‘could’ transpire, including ways that you may not have fathomed. Keep uttering the mantra to yourself of ‘no matter the outcome’. Repeat it to yourself over and over again.

It’s important to remember the ultimate ‘‘why’ of what you are doing. When you remember and understand that, and yet release your grip on it, you allow it to come to you. Have fun with this process and see how it affects the events that transpire.

Raise your vision and let go of your outcomes.

  1. Time to level up! That seems to be the message I’ve been getting recently. It’s exciting, but it requires courage as well, and letting go of all the fears and doubts that pulls you down. 😉

Glad I found your blog, adding it to my reader. I have to ask, do you have an Israeli background? Asking because of your name (my sister is named Amit too 🙂 ).

    • Amit Sodha says:

Anne, glad you have you as a regular. No, I have an Indian background. In Hindi, Amit means ‘unlimited’ or ‘without limit’ what does it mean for your sister?

  3. I’m a convert to The Sodha Method, I just didn’t know until now 😉
I love the way you’ve described this. It’s about seeing events in your life as opportunities and at the same time being responsive to the turns your life takes. I’m tempted to say that I hope you don’t lose your job, and yet if you did I wonder what amazing opportunities that might uncover…either way, I wish you the very best, and thanks for a lovely post.

Hey Claire, thanks for you kind words and it’s great to have a follower of the Sodha method. I still have no idea what my outcome will be but I am definitely enjoying the feeling of letting it go.

Amit: i really thought this was a good one. I am also a fan of the Sodha Method you shared. I really thought the comment you made about feeling low often stemming from small thinking was powerful and such a great insight. When we do think through things on a bigger scale, it really does open us up to so many more possibilities and such a better perspective. I really also liked your recommendation to literally just go to a higher place to raise your vision. I am on my way to a mountain 🙂 Thanks for a great post Amit and amazing insights. This was a really great post.

Hey Sibyl, thank you and glad to know I have yet another convert to the Sodha method (my plan for world domination is slowly coming to fruition!) 😛

    Hi Amit,
It is important to realize that we never know exactly how we will manifest our visions. We can’t try to out think Infinite Intelligence. You are right, when we trust that the right and perfect outcome will show up we are open to the myriad opportunities coming our way.

When I started out to become a millionaire in Real Estate I had no idea how I was going to do it… but I knew I would. One day I found a book on the sidewalk, “how to get rich in real estate” by Robert Kent. I read it followed it to a T. When I was ready to buy my first property I found an ad in the classified that fit the profile of a good investment property. I called the owner, one Robert Kent… I bought my first property from the very author. The rest is history as they say.

    • Amit Sodha says:

      Hey Rob,

What an awesome story! That is almost too good to be true! It’s weird how these things can occur and some people might say to you, because of where you are and not understanding how you got there, that it’s easy for you because you’re already there, but the truth is you had to work at it, you paid attention to that book, were a good student and then you did it!

      Awesome!

This must really be synchronicity. I believe that a number of us are feeling the call to step up. I have just written a light hearted post about facing my fear. Most certainly, I like the idea of raising my vision and letting go of my outcomes.

  8. Amit,

I like the Sodha method! It is like Dale carnegie who have said, think of worse possible outcome and then improve upon it.

Sometimes, we are worried so much about the outcome that we do not start the process right. Thanks for these 2 tips.

  9. This is a very inspirational post and it is right on time for me. I’m facing a situation that I could very well sit back and worry about. But guess what–I’m raising my vision. Keep up the awesome work!

This is definately very good advice, especially if you are looking to start something completely new in your life, which could possibly open up more avenues-it kinda helps you to forget about the fears and doubts you might experience along the way! I was wondering if you could give me more information about blogging, because its new to me.
