The International Day Of Peace
Today is the International day of peace and so it is with that in mind that I decided to write this post in honour of this great day!
You can do anything you choose for this day, whether it be spreading the message, doing a particular activity to raise awareness or just meditating by yourself or with your family, it’s your choice on how to bring about lasting peace, not just for today, to your communities.
Whatever you decide to do, leave you global messages of peace here and send out the vibez of peace that ripple to all those in need of it most!
Mother Earth has suffered enough, and it is high-time that all human beings who feel pulled by the call of consciousness start resonating with peace, joy and bliss, because even thoughts are energetic impulses that are powerful enough, especially when bolstered by large groups with the common intent, to create immediate and profound harmony in the world. It is only when we become blissful, that we can have love, compassion and peace around us.
As part of the world efforts towards peace, inspired by my own spiritual Master, several Nithyananda teams across the globe are conducting a 24 hour relay meditation. The mantra chanted will be Om Hreem Nithyanandaaya namah. Om is the beeja mantra for the cosmic male energy, and Hreem is the beeja mantra for the cosmic female energy. Nithyananda means “eternal bliss”. So, by chanting this mantra, we are surrendering to the energy of the universe which is eternal bliss, so that we also become embodiments of that! 🙂
Let me conclude with this peace invocation in Sanskrit:
lokah samastha sukhino bhavanthu
Om Shanti Shanti Shantih!
May all the beings in all the worlds become happy
Peace, peace, peace everywhere!
Thank you for those lovely thoughts Antarananda. I will also join you with that chant to spread it’s wonderful power and energy of peace across the universe.
Peace with you!
Amen!
Hmmmm….this is kind of coincidental….I just finished a post to a list about the energies of the upcoming day…..the Equinox & New Moon day.
First, let me say I love the idea of the relay meditation. I’ve participated in them before, and I believe they are very powerful.
In Chinese metaphysics, the Heavenly/Spiritual symbol and energy signature for the Moon and the Autumnal Equinox (a New Moon and the Equinox happen within the next 36 hours) is water; very yin, very powerful energy, always in harmony with natural progressions (it “goes with the flow”), and often indicative of meditation.
The Earthly symbol and energy signature for this time of year is metal energy, symolized by the mouth and singing/chanting.
In the Creation cycle of the Five Phases of energy (you may have heard of this as the Chinese “Five Elements”), metal creates water….so metal energy creates water energy….which is an indication that, especially over the next day or so, earthly singing and chanting feeds, supports, or “creates” spiritual meditative (in my opinion, earth-transforming) energies.
This relay meditation should have a very powerful outcome. 🙂
Hi Amit
Thanks for sharing with us about the day. I really had no idea. The day is almost gone so I join you guys and chant some good words for the world. Thanks again Amit
Hey Michelle! That’s absolutely fascinating. I don’t think it was a coincidence, I bet it was providence! (my favorite word of the moment!) :p or as I call it, self-providence!
Not to mention that I believe that we do pick up on the feelings of things going on in the world. There are countless times I’ve written a post and found so many others just like it the very next day! (I promise there was no copying!) :p
I agree that I feel that the relay meditation is so powerful and can bring huge benefit to the world. I wish for more days like it, by large groups of people that advocate peace!
Good on you Radhika, lets join forces to make it even more powerful! 🙂
