8 Killer Mobile Apps To Supercharge Your Self Growth

Personal development has gotten a lot easier thanks to mobile apps. There are mobile apps to help us with being organised, staying fit, forming habits, relaxing and even increasing happiness. If you look around, you will see that the number of people supplimenting their self growth with mobile devices and apps is on the rise.
With than in mind, I decided to compile a list of some of my absolute favorite, killer apps, to compliement your spiritual journey and to take things to another level.
There are variety of apps, from puzzles to supercharge your brain to apps that will help you meditate. So go through the list and leave a comment below with your favorites, and ones that may not have been mentioned.
1. Paradigm Buster
Looking to understand more about paradigms, replace your habits and turbo charge your results? Then, Paradigm Buster is the app for you. This nifty app works by choosing a negative paradigm you want to change, and replaces it with a powerful positive paradigm using emotional impact and repetition. The In-App reminders help reinforce the positive beliefs. This app is available in the iOS App Store and Google Play Store .
2. Coach.me
While Paradigm Buster helps you change existing paradigms, Coach.me (previously known as Lift) helps you develop new habits. If you are looking to participate in a marathon coming up in a month and need to form a habit to jog everyday, then Coach.me is the app for you. The advantage of this app includes tracking your performance, adding an accountability partner and setting reminders. Recently, an affordable coaching feature has been added to the app. The app even gives you a virtual high five, when you complete a task, reinforcing motivation. This app is available in the iOS App Store and Google Play Store.
3. Duolingo
Want to learn a new language? Duolingo helps you achieve that goal in bite-sized steps. The app gives you tiny language lessons and in return, you translate the world wide web (when you are ready for that epic task 😀 ). If you have been putting of learning a language, then do an 8 minute to 10 minute lesson a day. Since the lessons are short, it is possible to incorporate learning a language easily into your schedule. This app is available in the iOS App Store , Google Play Store and for Windows Phones.
4. HeadSpace
Love meditation and guided visualization? Then try this app. You can take the 10 day training program on meditation with 10 minutes of meditation per day, and after that you need to subscribe to access advanced meditations. Once you subscribe you get tons of new meditation material. A subscription package is a great gift for a friend who’s into meditation. Team up with friends, meditate and get goodies when you stick to meditation schedules. This app is available in iOS App Store, Desktop and Google Play Store.
5. Calm.com
The Calm.com app gives you the ability to meditate near a lake, on a beach or in the rain. Calm lets you set the scenery and takes you on a journey with guided meditation. A meditation called 7-phases of calm is available for free and to access the rest, a subscription is needed. Once you subscribe, you get access to a lot of guided meditation techniques and meditation music. Guided meditation includes meditation for improving your focus, creativity, confidence and much more. A great bonus of this app is the serene and beautiful music by Kip Mazuy. This app is available in iOS App Store, Desktop and Google Play Store.
6. Chillax
Chillax is another excellent meditation app. It uses binaural beats, lots of different sounds and music to put you in a meditative state. Start the timer and meditate. The timer can be adjusted between 1 and 90 minutes. You also get to save your meditation time and the sounds you like so that you can go revisit the meditations that make you feel completely relaxed. Chillax is available on iOS App Store.
7. Elevate
Want to get better at puzzles? Want to read faster and increase comprehension? Want to get better at grammar? Training your brain to get better at all these is easy, using Elevate. Your brain gets all the training, while you are have fun playing games. There is a circulation of different games to play on a daily basis. The level of difficulty is based on your capabilities and the better you get at a particular task, the level of difficulty goes up. Elevate was chosen by Apple as the App of the Year in 2014. Elevate is available on iOS App Store and Google Play Store.
8. Complete
Complete is the first community-based to-do app, where people help each other accomplish their tasks and goals. Complete is available on iOS App Store.
