Meditation Vs Medication
These days, we all too quickly want to jump to a quick fix for our minor ailments. A pain killer here, antibiotics there, antacids, etc etc. Just before you do have a quick think: Do I really need this? Spend just two minutes in silent reflection and ask your body: What do you truly need?
This is very good. I agree…I see too many people go for the quick fix instead of being sensible and taking care of their bodies in the first place. Every medication a person takes keeps the body from working the way nature intended, and puts a strain on the system. We should respect our bodies, be cautious in our use of medications, and definitely Listen to our body to learn what it really needs.
Yep this is definitely something I’m putting into practise for myself too. I’ve been suffering from so many colds and flu’s lately. But before I jump to taking anything for it, I just ask my body to heal naturally, and I will give it whatever it needs in the way of natural relief e.g. hot water with lemon etc.
